All Aboard the Snow Train!!

Well the day has finally arrived that Steve has been waiting for!! For the last 3 years and 12 days Steve has been waiting to play in the snow with Cooper. They had so much fun and they built this really cute snow train! We had quite a congregation of kids looking at the train on their way home from school and Cooper kept yelling, "ALL ABOARD!!" The art of packing the snow just right...
The architects

Food coloring, and a spray bottle...

And VOILA!!!

Wow - Steve does have a creative side! That's totally cute! And better than the old snowman standby...

We saw your cute train as we drove by the other day. My kids loved it and I could see the wheels in Tanner's head turning. He was thinking of what he make with the snow.

We love it! We drive by just to catch a peek. Next time Steve is itching to get outside, send him our way and grace our yard with some super cute ice sculpture. :)

Now I know where you live! ha! Nathan and I drove past your house the other day and we stopped to check out "that cool snow train - I wonder who lives there." Now that we know we should come visit (after all - you live all of four blocks from us and we only see you on Sundays!) and Nathan would love to check out the snow train up close and personal. It's very cute. How fun! We were discussing how you colored it. I suggested Koolaid and he thought food coloring. I'll have to tell him he was right!

It was so funny, when we drove by Aaron said "look, the snow covered their train."
I had to inform him that it was made out of snow.

So I popped in and saw these pictures and I thought that I already left a comment, and then I realized that I saw them on your facebook page.

I was thinking that I might be losing it there. I like that idea, now all we need is some snow. Well maybe I don't really want all that snow, then I would have to find coats and winter gear for us to wear to make the snow train. I think that was so clever to use the large tubs and the sand buckets, I give it a 10.
